Startign with early life history & education, Salman Khan was born on 27 December, 1965. He is the eldest son of Screenwriter Salim Khan & his first wife Sushila Charak who later on changed her name to Salman Khan. Khan paternal ancestors were Pathan who migrated from Afghanistan to Indore. Khan has two brothers Arbaaz Khan & Sohail Khan and two sisters. Salman studied at the Scindia School, Gwalior. He then finished his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School. Khan attended his college in Mumbai at St.Xavier’s College.

Salman Khan Filming Debut

Salman Khan made his filming debut in 1988 as a supporting role in film “Biwi Ho To Aisi”. Khan first leading role came in a family drama in 1989 which earned him much famous & respect. He also got best actor award from Filmfare. This film has also been dubbed in English & Spanish and was one of the highest Indian grossing film. In 1994, Khan got the major success when he started a new film “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” in collaboration with Sooraj Barjatya in the film. In 1995 awards ceremony, this film got three filmfare awards & best film, best director, & best actress. It also won national award for being the popular film of the year. This film became the biggest bollywood hit film of the year.

This film of Salman Khan became the “Biggest Blockbusters Ever in Hindi Cinema”. It also became the highest grossing film ever Bollywood had. In 1998, Khan worked in five films. In 1999, he starred in three films including Biwi No 1 which is the highest grossing film of that year. Significance turning point came into Khan life in 2009 when his film “Wanted” became a box office success & got superhit film status. Khan film “Dabangg” was released in 2010, which broke several box office records & become the highest opening week grossing film. It also beat 3 idiots in this race. Dabangg film got a huge positive criticism from audience. In the next some years, major movies of Khan were “Ready”, “Ek Tha Tiger”, “Dabanng 2”, “Bajrangi BhaiJaan”   which got major success.
