Nasir Jamshed represented Pakistan team in ODI & T20. His early life history, various records & achievements which he made for Pakistan team will be discuss in this article. He is a left handed opening batsman.

Nasir Jamshed life History

Nasir Jamshed was born on 6 December, 1989. He played his first class debut match at an age of 15. He was selected for Pakistan U19 cricket team for the series against Sri-lanka where he scored 204 on his debut. He is the youngest player to play T20 match. He played at an age of 15 years for Lahore Lions. He played his first ODI match against Zimbabwe where he made 61 of 48 balls. He got man of the match award. In the second match, he also scored fifty & made him first Pakistani to score two consecutive fifties in his first two matches. He performed well in 2008 Asia Cup & scored two fifties that came against India & Bangladesh. He played great inning against India in 2012 Asia Cup where he scored his first century.  He scored 112 runs of just 104 balls. He did not manage to perform well in 2015 ICC cricket world cup.

  • Nasir Jamshed has scored 3 ODI centuries. All of these centuries came against India. First one was in 2012 Asia Cup where he scored 112 runs. He scored two consecutive centuries against India in 2012-2013 Pakistan tour to India which is a great achievement in his cricket life history. He scored 101 and 106 runs. Pakistan had won both of that matches.
  • Nasir Jamshed has scored 8 ODI fifties.
